Interrobang Film Festival

Beat the heat at the Des Moines Art Festival at the affiliated Interrobang Film Festival. This three-day IMDb-verified Festival is a juried show, featuring public showings and talkbacks with Directors. Check out films in nine categories from all over the world!

iCubs Pride Night at Tailgate at Principal Park

“Join local forager, Lindsey Coyne, for a fun look at edible and medicinal summer plants. Meet at the Bill Riley Trail bridge at Waterworks Park. Walk is 4-5 PM. We will discuss foraging safely, laws for foraging and Lindsey will identify many edible and medicinal summer plants, as well as identifiable mushrooms and trees. Bring your Iowa plant questions! Suggested donation: $15-$35 per person.”

Cap off Pride Month with the inaugural Pride Ride with Capital City Ride! This untimed community-building event is open to all. Choose between 10 and 20 mile round trips between Single Speed Brewing Company in downtown Des Moines and The Chicken on Orilla Road. Sign up and choose between a Pride Ride bike placard, choice of a pride koozie, and a water bottle!
