In Ankeny’s District at Prairie Trail, Rosalie Bridal is home to household designer such as Jenny Yoo, and more unique ones like Dany Girl, Katherine Tash, and more. What sets them apart? They make sure every bride has an experience that makes them not only feel beautiful, but confident. Owner, Chloe Peterson named this boutique in honor of her grandmother, Mildred Rosalie. Her dream is to create an intimate space where every woman can feel empowered to find a gown that is uniquely their own.

One of Des Moines’ newest bridal boutique opened its doors in the Highland Park neighborhood in April of 2024. Founded by two friends, Annie and Paiton, after both becoming engaged in 2020 and bonding over all things wedding planning. The boutique puts an emphasized focus on disruptive styles and a personalized experience. Run by appointments only, Kalon offers a full gallery of never before seen gowns that are sure to wow every bride. The personalized experience starts before brides even walk through the doors of the boutique–the Kalon team offers pre appointment phone calls, surveys moodboards and consultations to get to know the bride on a deeper level and make sure when she does arrive, it’s the best experience ever.

Located in Boone, Modern Dress has been owned and operated by Ashley Redeker since 2012. This boutique runs by appointment only so secure your spot early! Regular bridal appointments last an hour and a half and private appointments are two hours. Modern Dress carries an array of designers such as Zavana, Mori Lee, and Rachel Rose. Prices of their gowns range from $1,500 – $3,500 but the majority clock in around $1,800-$2,500. We trust that the 4.9 star rating on Google makes this shop worth the trip!
